CaptureAnswers does not control the questions asked in surveys.

Account Holders are responsible for providing appropriate privacy notices to Respondents if this Policy does not cover their data collection.

CaptureAnswers does not store payment card information on our servers. All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.

Public Surveys and Embedded Forms

  • Surveys may be shared via publicly accessible UUID-based URLs
  • Surveys may be embedded on third-party websites
  • Anyone with access to the URL may submit responses

Respondents should review the survey owner’s privacy notice before submitting data.

Social Login

We offer social login options (e.g., Google) to facilitate account creation and access. When you use social login, we may receive certain personal data from the social platform, such as your name and email address. File Uploads

Our platform may allow survey respondents to upload files as part of completing a survey. You must not request, collect, or upload files that contain illegal content, malicious software, or data that you do not have a lawful right to collect.

Unless explicitly authorised by us in writing, you must not request or upload highly sensitive personal data, including (but not limited to) identity documents, financial information, health data, or special category personal data as defined under applicable data protection laws.

You are solely responsible for determining the types of files requested through your surveys, ensuring that you have a lawful basis for collecting such data, and for managing, securing, and retaining those files in compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

Uploaded files are stored securely and may be processed or hosted using trusted third-party infrastructure and storage providers. We do not routinely monitor or review uploaded files. However, we reserve the right to restrict access to, suspend, or permanently delete files that breach our policies, pose a security risk, or are required to be removed by law.

Uploaded files may be automatically deleted after a defined retention period or upon deletion of the associated survey, submission or account. We may automatically log and retain technical metadata associated with file uploads, including IP address and device information, to detect misuse, investigate security incidents, and comply with legal or regulatory requirements.


Cloudflare Services

We use Cloudflare services to enhance the security, performance, and reliability of our website and services. Cloudflare may collect certain technical information, such as IP addresses, browser types, and access times, to provide these services. Migration Service

We offer a form migration service that allows users to import forms from other platforms. This service may involve processing form data, including field types, option lists, required rules, and section structure. We may store and analyze this data temporarily to facilitate the migration process and for audit logs. For example, failed or blocked migration attempts may be logged for security and troubleshooting purposes, parsed form data may be stored temporarily to improve our migration algorithms and successfully migrations, we may store for longer periods to investigate and resolve issues.

We store logs of migration attempts, including metadata such as timestamps, IP addresses, and user agents, to monitor for potential abuse, investigate security incidents, and ensure the integrity of our migration service. We may also retain anonymized or aggregated data derived from the migration process for research and development purposes to enhance our services.


Account Deletion

Due to the nature of our service, we do not offer a general account deletion feature. Account Holders may cancel their subscription and stop using the Service at any time.

You may request account deletion by contacting us at [email protected] or by visiting our support page from within the platform. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will:

  • Deactivate your account
  • Delete or anonymise personal data associated with your account, subject to legal obligations
  • Retain certain data as required for legal or compliance purposes

Deletion requests may take up to 30 days to process.

We may use automated systems to:

  • Detect misuse or abuse
  • Support moderation decisions

Automated systems do not make legally significant decisions without human involvement.
